Targhee wool is grown and processed in the United States. The Targhee breed was developed from foundation stock including ewes of Rambouillet, Corriedale, and Lincoln bloodlines bred back to Rambouillet rams. Micron count is 23/23.5, and average staple length is 3-5 inches.
