Hand Dyed in Duvall, Washington

When you create something by hand, you invest a lot of time and energy in it. Whether it’s an everyday pair of socks or an intricate tapestry, it is a expression of yourself, your craft, and your creativity.

At Woolgatherings, we know that high quality materials can make a huge difference in the beauty and durability your finished product as well as in the enjoyment of creation. We stock fibers that are strong, well-prepared, and can last through generations. Our hand painted fibers are thoughtfully designed in unique color palettes, dyed with colorfast commercial grade dyes, and gently processed to draft like a dream. We do all of this to ensure that your fiber projects will be a joy to create and something that you will be proud of when they are finished.

Kate Westburg is the dyer behind Woolgatherings. Her work has been featured in Spin Off Magazine, Knitty, The Seattle Met Style Blog, Ennea Collective Online Magazine, The Knitgrrls Podcast, Spin Doctor Podcast, Needles and Artifice by the Ladies of Mischief, and on the cover of yarn-i-tecture by Jillian Moreno.
